Join a unique and exhilarating way to discover everything the Bay of Islands has to offer!&nbsp;Feel the rush of adrenaline as you enjoy a ride on a custom-built V8 Chevrolet Trike with an experienced driver at the helm.&nbsp;All you have to do is sit back, hold on and enjoy your guided 2-hour tour to experience Haruru Falls, Waitangi Lookout, Opua and the historic town of Russell.&nbsp;

Starting at the Paihia i-SITE, jump aboard as you take off on your thrilling adventure following the stunning coastline to Haruru Falls for a visual of the horse-shoe shaped waterfalls. Continue onto Waitangi Lookout to be rewarded with&nbsp;360-degree panoramic&nbsp;views of the Bay and across to Russell.&nbsp;

From here, you will head south to Opua, allowing your driver to effortlessly navigate along the narrow and winding coastal roads getting up to speeds of 100km per hour!&nbsp;Enjoy amazing photo opportunities and thrills galore as you wind your way through native bushland and valleys to the seaside marina village.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

Catch the car ferry across to Okiato and head onto Russell &ndash; the first settlement in New Zealand. Learn some local history as you explore Russell &ndash; passing the oldest Church in New Zealand (complete with musket holes) and experience breathtaking views. Take the opportunity for a photo behind the handlebars of the big trike, and finish with a meander through the township. You can choose to further explore Russell at your leisure, returning by passenger ferry to Paihia, or sit back and enjoy the ride back to Paihia on the trike.

Powered by a 5.7L 350 Chevrolet Edelbrock motor, these trikes are the ultimate in power and excitement and taking a ride on one is a&nbsp;definite bucket list experience!&nbsp;Due to the fact that the trikes are registered as convertible cars and come with seat belts, there is no requirement to wear a helmet, so you can enjoy the wind in your face and experience pure adrenaline.

Our Trikes are fitted with seatbelts and it is the responsibility of the passengers to secure them at all times. Failure to do so will result in the ride being terminated immediately with no refund or credit given.

Passengers must keep arms and legs within the confines of the Trike at all times.

The driver is authorised to stop the Trike and ask any passengers to get off, if in their opinion they act contrary to our conditions of their booking in any way. The passengers must not interfere with, encourage or harass the driver into breaking the law or any of these conditions. 
The Operator holds no responsibility for delays caused by unexpected circumstances beyond our control such as weather or traffic delays. 
The driver will use his judgment to drive at reasonable speeds in relation to the prevailing road, traffic and weather conditions. Our vehicles are insured for our drivers only. No other person may drive the vehicles under any circumstances.

The customer agrees that The Operator is free to use images of customers for advertising and marketing purposes unless requested otherwise.

The Operator reserves the right to decline taking passengers who are too intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. This will be at the driver&rsquo;s discretion and no refund or credit will be given.

Waiver and Release 
The passenger understands the requirements and conditions and is aware that the ride may involve the risk of personal injury and damage or loss of property. The passenger voluntarily accepts all risks of personal injury and property damage arising from participation on the ride.

Cancellations 
If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee.

If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee.

If you cancel within 2 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
