16 years old is the legal minimum age to skydive in Australia. All minors need their parent or guardian&rsquo;s written permission. There is not a maximum age limit to skydive but The Operator reserves the right to refuse a skydive, based on weight and health to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.&nbsp;

Due to safety reasons, the maximum weight to skydive is 115 kg. All customers are weighed&nbsp;at check-in. Charges apply for participants 95kgs and above:

There are risks involved, but thanks to the advancements in technology, regulation and training, skydiving has&nbsp;become much safer over the last few decades. Safety devices like Automatic Activation Devices (AADs), will automatically trigger the deployment of the reserve parachute in the unlikely event that the instructor is not able to operate the equipment. The Operator reviews all the aircraft and gear periodically, and all the instructors are highly experienced with thousands of skydives each, which ensures that your skydiving experience is as safe as possible.

Photo and video packages can be purchased as extras.

Yes, all these skydives are 100% beach landing at no extra cost.&nbsp;

It will often take around 1-2 hrs, however, it is safer to allow for half a day of activity as there may be weather or unforeseen circumstances out of The Operator&#39;s control.

&nbsp;

Your booking time is for your check-in. When you arrive at reception, you will fill in some paperwork, and then you are assigned to a load or flight. The safety briefing and gear up with your instructor will take 10 min, followed by a 20 min flight to 14,000 feet.

Please ensure you do your check-in on time. If you have any issues please let us know in advance.

It depends on the size of the group and the aircraft&nbsp;operating on the day. If you want to skydive with your friends on the same flight, the crew will do their best to accommodate your request, please let them&nbsp;know when you check in.

	<li>At 14,000 feet it will be cooler than on the ground, bear that in mind. The Operator can provide you with a jumpsuit to wear over your clothes if required.</li>
	<li>The Operator will provide you with skydiving goggles. If you wear prescription glasses there are&nbsp;special oversized goggles.</li>
	<li>Footwear is important, enclosed shoes that won&rsquo;t fall off are required, no flip-flops or open sandals.</li>

Almost any healthy person can skydive, even seniors over 70 years old. The Operator reserves&nbsp;the right to refuse a skydive after an assessment based on age, weight and general health. This is due to safety reasons, to protect both customers and staff.

Of course! The Operator wants visitors to make the best of the day skydiving. Friends and family are welcome to hang out at the premises and watch you boarding the plane and landing under parachute.

Experience freefalling at over 200 km/h with an experienced skydive instructor on&nbsp;the Sunshine Coast.

You should allow for half a day on the date of your skydive. The dropzone is located in Caloundra, the closest skydiving location to Brisbane. Come in casual clothes and comfortable closed footwear (no flip flops, please!), and check in&nbsp;at reception and the staff will guide you through the next steps.

&nbsp;

Your skydiving instructor will give you a safety&nbsp;briefing and get you geared up before taking off. A 20 min scenic&nbsp;flight to altitude will follow, with stunning panoramic views of the Sunshine Coast.

At 14,000 feet, the door opens and &hellip; pure adrenaline in freefall!&nbsp;Experience a rush like no other, with stunning views over the ocean with up to 60 seconds of freefall time.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

Once the parachute is released, enjoy a&nbsp;stunning gentle ride under the canopy back to the beach. It takes between five and seven minutes to land, giving you plenty of time to admire the views as you drift closer to land.&nbsp;

Availability of Skydive Dates &amp; Time Slots:&nbsp;All skydive dates and times are subject to availability. Always check availability and days of operation either online or with our booking team, prior to booking confirmation.

Timing:&nbsp;All bookings are given a check-in time only.&nbsp; Please note this is not a jump time.&nbsp; A late arrival may result in delays to your jump time.&nbsp; We always strive to complete your skydive within 3 hours of your arrival but due to factors beyond our control this is not always possible.&nbsp; Safety is our priority and factors such as wind, rain, cloud and turbulence and other factors such as air traffic can affect the time it takes for us to complete your skydive.&nbsp; We advise you to arrive with no time constraints and plan for this to be at least a half day&rsquo;s activity.

Age:&nbsp;The minimum age for skydiving in Australia is 12 years.&nbsp; Skydivers under 18 years require consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Australian Parachute Federation (APF):&nbsp;APF Membership is mandatory for all skydivers. The APF membership levy is included in the price of your skydive.&nbsp; You will find a link for APF registration in your confirmation e-mail, it must be completed prior to your arrival at the drop zone.

Refunds:&nbsp;Full refunds will only be made if 48 hours of notice is provided ahead of your scheduled booking.&nbsp; If we are not able to proceed with your skydive due to weather, you can choose an alternative date within 3 years of the original booking date, or you may receive a refund.

Payments:&nbsp;Full payment is required at the time of booking.&nbsp; Alternatively, a $100 deposit per person may be paid when booking with our staff over the phone, the remaining balance will be payable on check-in at drop zone.&nbsp; Any payments made at the drop zone will attract credit card surcharges whereas those made online or over the phone do not.&nbsp; Deposits are per person and transferrable but cannot be used to pay the balance of another person&rsquo;s skydive.

No-shows:&nbsp;If you do not check in on the day of your booking and do not contact us in advance all payments will be forfeited.&nbsp; If extenuating factors exist, we may allow you to choose a new date. In this case a $50 per person no-show fee will apply.

Cancellations:&nbsp;Cancellations made within 24 hours of the jump date will result in forfeit of your skydive payment.&nbsp; Cancellations made within 48 hours of the jump date will incur a $100 per person cancellation fee.

Customer&rsquo;s Change of Mind:&nbsp;If you do not go through with your skydive all payments for the skydive will be forfeited, no refunds will be given.

Booking Changes:&nbsp;&nbsp;A booking can be rescheduled any number of times.&nbsp; Any change to the jump date or time within 24 hours of the jump date &amp; time will incur a $50 change fee.

Personal Identification:&nbsp;Make sure that you and everyone in your group has a valid government-issued photo ID on arrival at the drop zone on the day of your skydive.

Group Bookings: If you have made a skydive booking on behalf of others, it is your responsibility to ensure all members of the group are informed of our Terms &amp; Conditions. You are responsible for providing us with the names and contact details of all individuals in your group. Last minute additions to the group are required to pay in full prior to arrival at the drop zone. Additions made on the day may incur a delay to your jump time. We always try to assign groups to the same aircraft, but this is not always possible due to operational requirements. No refunds will be made available where we need to change the group configuration.

Weight Surcharges:&nbsp; Weight is an important consideration. It affects aircraft weight and balance, fuel allowances, climb rates and equipment maintenance. &nbsp; Every customer will be weighed at check- in.&nbsp; We must be informed at the time of booking if a customer weighs 95kg or more.&nbsp; Please note the maximum weight for tandem skydiving is 115kg.&nbsp; We reserve the right to refuse service based on weight if we consider it a safety issue.&nbsp; The following weight surcharges apply:

Changes to a Confirmed Skydive:&nbsp;To ensure the highest standards are maintained, we reserve the right to reschedule or alter a skydive without notice.&nbsp; Whilst rare, these changes may include aircraft type, jump time, group size, altitude reached and jump location.&nbsp; These changes do not constitute a claim for refund.&nbsp; We always endeavour to deliver the highest altitude we can.

Personal Electronic Equipment:&nbsp;For the safety of all customers and in accordance with Australian Parachute Federation (APF) regulations, the use of all electronic devices, including personal camera and video equipment is not permitted on the aircraft or at any time during the jump.

Medical Conditions:&nbsp;Please consult your doctor about any medical conditions that could affect you safely completing a skydive.&nbsp; Please advise us prior to your jump of any medical conditions or other considerations that could affect your safety.

Alcohol and Drugs:&nbsp;No alcohol, &lsquo;recreational&rsquo; drugs or medication that may affect your judgement are to be taken within 8 hours prior to your check in.

Restrictions for Scuba Diving:&nbsp;Due to medical restrictions, you must not scuba dive within 24 hours of your scheduled skydive check in time.

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI):&nbsp;This is optional cover that can be purchased when completing your APF membership application.&nbsp; If you select this cover, you will be required to pay the applicable premium or renew your existing cover at the applicable rate.

Purchasing Photos and Videos:&nbsp; Whilst it is not mandatory to book a video or photographs, it is advisable, as on some occasions a late change of mind may result in disappointment.&nbsp; If there is a technical issue and all footage is unavailable, you will be offered a second skydive on the same day with videographer at no extra charge, or a full refund of your video/photo product.&nbsp; Please be advised that should there be any technical issues relating to camera/dubbing equipment, no refunds can be made for the individual skydive as the filming and skydive are two separate products.&nbsp; If only a portion of your video or photo product fails, you will be issued with a refund for the balance of the amount paid less the value of the product received.

Copyright Photos and Videos:&nbsp;Videos and photographs purchased through The Operator remain the copyright of The Operator.&nbsp; We own and retain the right to the footage and photographs. Such footage may be used by The Operator for marketing purposes and reproduction of videos sold and may only be used or reproduced by the purchaser or recipient for private or domestic purposes and must not be used for any commercial purpose, including promotion of any supplier or any supplier&rsquo;s products or services without The Operator&rsquo;s prior permission. Should you not want any of your footage or photographs uploaded to The Operator&rsquo;s social media platforms, or used in company marketing, please advise our staff prior to your jump.

Group Discounts:&nbsp; Customers who book more than 4 or 8 people together can receive a group discount.&nbsp; 4+ ($20), 8+ ($40) Groups receiving the group discount and later splitting will no longer be entitled to the discount.&nbsp; Group discounts apply only to full priced Tandem and Learn to Skydive products and are not applicable to specials or already discounted products.

Changes to Products &amp; Pricing:&nbsp;The Operator reserves the right to change any pricing, special offers, products, and packages without notice.

Credit Card Surcharges:&nbsp;Credit card payments processed online or over the phone will not attract credit card surcharges. Credit card payments processed at the drop zone will attract credit card surcharges. Credit card surcharges are subject to change and are non-refundable.

Gift Vouchers:&nbsp;All gift vouchers are non-refundable but are transferrable.&nbsp; Vouchers purchased for full price skydives expire 3 years after purchase.&nbsp; Vouchers for promotional purposes, donations and special deals may have a shorter expiry.&nbsp; You must use your gift voucher prior to its expiry date.&nbsp; Failure to check-in on your chosen date will be treated as a no-show.

Cancellations or Changes by The Operator due to Weather:&nbsp;If a skydive is cancelled due to weather, we will endeavour to rebook the jump on a suitable alternative date before leaving the drop zone. If this is not possible, all payments remain valid for a period of 3 years from the original jump date.&nbsp; After this date, the credit will be forfeited, and no refunds will be given. Credit can be transferred to any 1300 Skydive location.
