Sitting just north of downtown Miami is Wynwood, a 50 square block radius bursting with life, creativity, and culture. Since the start of its revitalization in the 2000s, Wynwood has quickly become a staple of Miami's art scene. And it's easy to see why: the area is one of the most expansive celebrations of street art and international cultural collaborations.

The street art, murals, and graffiti push beyond the four walls of museums and galleries to connect with the public and comment on the world in real-time. It is hard to describe Wynwood's magic; its city streets are flowing with Miami's electricity, but the area has an energy and artistic freedom all its own.

Seeing Wynwood is easiest without a car in tow. That's why joining a buggy tour is an excellent way to get to know this district. Your friendly guide will do the driving, and you can do all the picture snapping.

You'll make several stops at notable murals perfect for selfies and close-ups. Plus, feel feel to ask your guide to stop at any others that tickle your fancy. Learn about how the neighbourhood was created, and pass by Wynwood's numerous bars, breweries, and microbreweries on your travels. Make a note of the most inviting looks ones so you can pop back after your tour for a craft cocktail, local beer, or delicious meal.

At the end of the tour, you'll be dropped off at the Wynwood Walls, where you can choose to continue your art exploration journey (not included). Entry tickets are available, or you can upgrade to include the official tour as well.
