It is highly recommended that you bring long pants, a light jacket, comfortable shoes and a camera.

To get to the Cano Negro Refuge, we will go through a great part of the San Carlos plains enjoying the beautiful scenery of the side of the road, a great variety of fields with different products, such as sugar cane, legumes, fruit, and vegetables. Besides the broad areas for cattle breeding.

Upon arrival at Cano Negro, we will board a boat that will take us through the Canals of the river &ldquo;Rio Frio&rdquo; and its beautiful scenery. Thousands of animals inhabit the borders of the river and you shall enjoy seeing monkeys, sloth, caimans, turtles, bats and a great variety of birds.

&nbsp;

This is one of Costa Rica&rsquo;s refuges where the greatest diversity of flora and fauna can be observed. You will have a very nice experience when we stop by the side of the river for some tasty coffee break surrounded by nature. There is no doubt that Cano Negro is incredibly exotic and that with this tour you will have great unforgettable memories indeed.

During the months of February, March, and April many species of migratory birds visit the refuge which is awesome for those who love bird watching; this is a tour one cannot skip.

Accidents

Liability for death or personal injuries to passengers is limited to contract conditions with suppliers and insurance coverage subscribed by the company, according to the laws of Costa Rica, in effect at the moment of the accident.
