Generally, we pick passengers up at major hotels or airports. We return our guests to the place of pick up. We cannot accommodate luggage on tour. We cannot pick passengers up at the airport and return them to a hotel.

You should bring items that allow you to be comfortable. You should wear sunscreen and bring a camera. Please do not leave anything of value unattended on the coach.

Lunch is at Gunstock Ranch and includes a one-choice meal, chips, a homemade chocolate chip cookie, a beverage (water or juice) and a sample of fresh, local fruit. Please indicate any dietary restrictions &ndash; vegetarian, vegan, gluten‐free, nut‐allergy, etc. at the time of booking.

This exciting small group adventure takes you out of Waikiki to the beautiful North Shore of Oahu. Your driver-guide will pick you up in Waikiki and will share the Mo&rsquo;olelo (story) of this beautiful island on the morning drive.

Then, we&rsquo;ll cross the Nu&rsquo;uanu Pali Highway to the windward coastline surrounded by the towering Ko&rsquo;olau Mountain Range&nbsp;before travelling onward to the famous North Shore, where waves pound pristine sandy beaches. Peer down at the windward coastline as you descend into Kaneohe town. Look for the offshore islet called Mokoli&rsquo;i, more&nbsp;commonly known as Chinaman&rsquo;s Hat,&nbsp;in sparkling Kaneohe Bay. Take in the relaxed country vibe and miles of sandy shores before arriving at Gunstock Ranch in Kahuku, where the real adventure begins.&nbsp;

You&#39;ll have a check-in and a safety briefing before getting on the horse. Then the 1 hr 30 min&nbsp;ride will have you traversing&nbsp;green pastures and mountain trails on horseback. Pause at picturesque lookouts to gaze at clear blue ocean vistas &ndash; it&#39;s truly the best way to experience Oahu&rsquo;s north shore. After the relaxing ride, participate in a native Hawaiian tree planting ceremony in the Legacy Forest (one tree included per reservation) to offset carbon emissions and restore Hawaii&rsquo;s ecosystem. Learn the rich history of the land amidst grazing cattle and rolling hills.&nbsp;

After your ride, it&#39;s time for lunch. Enjoy a delicious picnic&nbsp;and get up close with animal friends at the petting zoo.

On our way back to Waikiki, drive along&nbsp;the North Shore, crossing big wave territory as we journey past the world-famous surf breaks such as Sunset and Waimea Bay. Finally, visit&nbsp;historic Haleiwa Town, with its preserved old plantation character and surf town image. Its shops and restaurants are popular among visitors and Oahu residents and are home to the famous Hawaiian sweet treat &ndash; shave ice. Plus, it&rsquo;s the gateway to the North Shore for those arriving from Honolulu and is the area&rsquo;s largest commercial centre.

On the home leg back to Waikiki, the tour will pass the coffee and pineapple farms of Central Oahu.&nbsp;

The horses are all great-looking and well taken care of. The trails were pretty cool, taking us through a wooded area, then up to where we could see the North Shore.
