During this day tour, fully covered carriages complete with padded seats and drop-down/see-through curtains, will ensure you are kept both comfortable and safe.

&nbsp;

Enjoy stops at three to four cellar doors where you can experience private sit-down tastings and learn about the processes involved in making these beautiful wines.

You will also have the chance to taste some of the finest gourmet foods at The Hunter Olive Centre.

&ldquo;How about the kids?&rdquo; No worries! This tour will also stop by Pokolbin Village where you can taste some delightful chocolate and local cheese, favourites of palates across all ages! Departure info

This tour departs from the Hunter Valley Gardens daily and runs from 10am to 4pm. Your horse and carriage will be located at the first bus stop on the left as you enter the Hunter Valley Gardens Complex.

You will be returned to this meeting point at the conclusion of the tour.

Alternatively, courtesy horse and carriage transfers from local accommodation are included within a 1km radius of Hunter Valley Gardens, 2090 Broke Rd, Pokolbin. Please advise at time of booking.

My partner and I recently enjoyed a winery tour with Hunter Valley Horse Carriage - Clip Clop. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would do it again next time we are in the Hunter Valley.

Excellent tour guide who was informative as well as entertaining. In a very comfortable and pleasant ride, I learned a lot of historical detail. A little history mixed with a lot of humor. They also take great care and respect for the horses.  The food  and wine was excellent!!!!

The guide was both knowledgeable and witty, which I appreciated. The tour added to the experience because the town is so historic and beautiful. Excellent guide with a great sense of humour and a wealth of knowledge to share. Very pleasant and knowledgeable! Made everyone feel at ease and  took my time explaining everything. Stanley, our horse, did an excellent job as well!

What a wonderful experience this husband and wife business has been. We took a carriage ride and went to wineries. Fantastic scenic and romantic ride with excellent company. I couldn't give it more than five stars. We intend to return!

Carriage ride that was educational and interesting. It is a useful approach to get an overview of the city quickly. The information the drivers provide about the region and the vineyards is excellent. Children adore it, and they find it to be amusing in certain ways.
