There are&nbsp;60 cabins&nbsp;across three decks and&nbsp;there are&nbsp;3&nbsp;categories of accommodation&nbsp;including&nbsp;inside, outside, and staterooms. There are&nbsp;9&nbsp;inside cabins,&nbsp;45&nbsp;outside cabins, and&nbsp;6&nbsp;staterooms, all&nbsp;with&nbsp;private ensuites.&nbsp;All&nbsp;inside and outside&nbsp;cabins&nbsp;have&nbsp;either twin share or double beds&nbsp;(doubles&nbsp;on request only&nbsp;and a surcharge applies)&nbsp;with two of them having a double and a single bed.&nbsp;The staterooms have a queen&nbsp;bed with&nbsp;2&nbsp;of the&nbsp;staterooms&nbsp;having an extra single bed.&nbsp;&nbsp;

During the day, sportswear and casual clothing are suggested. Do not wear bathing suits, singlets or brief attire in public rooms and lounges, especially in the dining room. Footwear&nbsp;is always requested in both the dining room and lounges.&nbsp;During the evening, smart casual wear is recommended &ndash; an open neck shirt and trousers for gentlemen and a dress, skirt or pants and blouse for the ladies.&nbsp;At the Captain&rsquo;s Dinner on the final night of the cruise, a jacket and tie would not be out of place for gentlemen and a cocktail dress or pants outfit for the ladies. Be sure to bring a sun visor or hat, sunglasses, and good sunblock/sunscreen. Sandals, low-heeled deck shoes, walking shoes, or sneakers are most suitable on-deck and for onshore excursions.&nbsp;

This tour is a short introduction to the beautiful, historic Murray River, between Walker Flat and Murray Bridge. Aboard the paddle-wheeler PS Murray Princess, you will cruise through spectacular riverlands and enjoy the variety of flora and fauna. You&#39;ll embark on a nature walk, spot&nbsp;river birdlife on board a flat-bottomed boat, visit the township of Murray Bridge, and learn about the food and wine of this region.

Day 1:

Mid-afternoon, the PS Murray Princess departs historic Mannum, the birthplace of the Murray River trade and communication. The boat will head&nbsp;downriver while you enjoy a Welcome Dinner. As the tour&nbsp;cruises under floodlight to overnight mooring at Mundurra, you may see nocturnal wildlife on the riverbank. Watch for kangaroos, hairy-nosed wombats, tortoises, egrets, and many other species. An entertainer provides music for the night owls.

Day 2:&nbsp;

&nbsp;

In 1879, the first bridge to span the Murray River was built at Edwards Crossing, which quickly became the bustling township of Murray Bridge. After a hearty breakfast, choose to join a guided tour of the town&rsquo;s historic landmarks and local attractions or go on a wildlife tour at Monarto Safari Park (additional cost).

Those who want to experience Monarto Safari Park will arrive back on board the Murray Princess in time for lunch then join the tour in the Sturt Dining Room for a special presentation on the bounty of food and wine produced in the Riverland. In the&nbsp;afternoon, the tour will&nbsp;continue its&nbsp;journey upriver and moor at Salt Bush Flat. After dinner, enjoy entertainment from the talented crew.

Day 3:

In the morning, join a guided nature walk where a guide will share secrets of the local flora and fauna. It&rsquo;s a great way to exercise before the PS Murray Princess departs and cruises downriver. Near Fromms Landing, the tour&nbsp;turns and head downriver to River View Lodge (near Piggy Flat / Coolcha) where your discovery vessel awaits for a wildlife tour.

Travelling in small, personalised groups, the tour explores the maze of the river and the birdlife. Watch for darters, herons, and egrets feeding along the river&rsquo;s muddy edges. The afternoon offers a choice of bocce or fishing challenges before a delicious final night dinner in the Sturt Dining Room.

Day 4:

The tour travels back to Mannum and after breakfast and bids&nbsp;farewell upon arrival at the Mannum Wharf.

Inside Cabin

Inside cabins are located on the lower decks and open onto a wide inside passageway. Inside cabins offer twin bedding with limited double bedded cabins available and have portholes facing the outside. Inside Cabins are accessed via stairs, there is no lift access to this deck.

Outside Cabin

Outside cabins are located on the upper decks and the majority of these cabins have twin bedding with limited double bedded cabins available. Each outside cabin opens onto the outside deck walkway with picture windows to view the passing scenery.

Stateroom Cabin

Our spacious Staterooms are located on the upper decks. Each stateroom offers a queen bed (some have an extra single bed) and open onto the outside deck walkway. Mini-bars, fridges and tea and coffee making facilities are also included.
